This was an exercise in working with a grid. We were asked to create a denotative manual on a subject of our choosing. Choosing to work with the holga camera, I wanted to challenge myself to work with an unconventional trim size and create a square grid based off of the aspect ratio of the photos that it produces. I like to design books that have a lot of moving parts, so I worked with a french fold bookbinding to have elements from each page lead to the next, creating a constellation of graphical elemets on the edge of the book.
